Just based on time of year (HOT) and the fact that you probably have great flight options from NYC, I'd say north. Research Galicia-Cantabria-Asturias-Basque region, and pick only one. I think San Sebastian would be particularly great with teens, as they can run around, go to beach, etc.ADVERTISEMENT
