Recommended guide for dromedary trip out of M'Hamid
The Lonely Planet guidebook specifically recommends reading in the Thorn Tree Travel forum for recommended guides (or those to avoid) - that it's not enough to just go with a particular company but to ask for a specific guide by name.Anyone have experience in this realm?
Probably somwhere back in time in the forum someone wrote about this already but thought I'd go ahead and get receptive and get current information (hopefully).

Late last November I hired this guy named Mohamad for overnight camel trip out of Amezrou. I was very happy with his service. A genuinely affable guy and speaks English very well. I'd recommend him solely based on my own personal experience with him. (I got him through Dar Raha's French proprietor). Here is Mohamad's web site: http://www.zagora-desert.info/contact.html. Good luck!3
In case it's not clear from the website, Amezrou is on the southern edge of Zagora. If you want to experience Moroccan culture, Dar Raha is a great place to stay overnight, reviews here.
I's go with Dar Raha owner's and njtrekker's recommendation. Ask to visit the library at Tamegrout as well.
