Great Restaurant in Varadero " La Vaca Rosada"
**Non-Touristy Paladar in Varadero**We found this paladar, by asking a local shop owner for some place to eat. Of course he has a friend that owns a restaurant a very cool restaurant that is on the roof of his house. It was about 5:30pm and we went to check it out, "Ever" is the name of the owner, he let us look around and see the menu even though they didn't open till 6:30pm. So, we went back to our Casa to shower and change and came back for dinner. "Ever" speaks perfect English, the atmosphere is awesome being on the roof with twinkle lights everywhere, the food was great and the prices where very reasonable. The restaurant also has a little Tiki bar.
This paladar a nice little bit of Cuba in a sea of tourist resorts.

Yes it is a nice place.Great food good prices and good people...His sisters name is Elizabeth.She is a hair stylist/barber.She cuts my hair 4 times a year for 15 years.Once every trip.
Calle 21 is a one way street.First building on the right is Govenrmet...Next is their house with the greenish gate and the restaurant
above....
Just wondering if she still has roses on every table.My friend from Santa Marta supplies her.Himself,his wife and his elderly parents
are trying to make a business of growing roses and supplying the hotels/restaurants.Not easy with the saline soil and lack of chemicals and tools.I bring them everything possible...I'll be there Dec 2nd for a month so I'll see her for my cut and some fun...
