ha ha ^^^^

I'd say you could fly NYC-Casablanca-Marrakesh via Royal Air Maroc.

Another option, probably cheaper, would be to fly DC to London, Paris, Switzerland, or Berlin and take take the EasyJet flight to Marrakesh from there.

RAM has the most direct route (NYC-Casa) but there are less expensive options. Check websites such as Travelocity, etc.

Going through Europe would be a bit cheaper I think. Check Skayscanner.net

I'm in the DC area. Cheapest is to get a flight to some European city that Easy Jet or Ryan Air offer Marrakesh (RAK) flights out of, try some of these:
United runs a nonstop to Manchester from there Easy Jet flies to RAK. This is better than going into Heathrow and out of Stansted or Gatwick as there's no airport change but check the timing on the flights it may or may not be doable. United also flies nonstop to Geneva and Paris CDG as well as Air France on the latter. Easy Jet flies from GVA and CDG to RAK but again check schedules for feasibility. For Ryan Air many of their flights will require an airport change for example they fly out of Frankfurt but Frankfurt Hahn not Frankfurt Main which is where your transatlantic will arrive and depart. Ryan also flies to RAK from Madridm though no more nonstops between IAD and MAD, Aer Lingus used to fly but cancelled the flight the past June so you'll have to connect now. More on Ryan check flight from Brussels, United flies there too nonstop from IAD. Check BWI schedules, I'm not as familair with those I almost always fly out of IAD or DCA. Good luck.

Hi letsglow!

Welcome to TT!

Royal Air Maroc out of New York (changing planes in Casablanca) could be an easy option. Iberia could be another option out of New York (changing planes along the route too) although it'll probably be more expensive.

Out of Washington, you could look for flights to Casablanca (e.g.: with Air France changing in Paris) and continue overland from Casablanca to Marrakech.

If you don't bother to purchase two separate tickets, you could research the option of booking a flight to some point in Europe and another one with a low cost airline from that point in Europe to Marrakech. However, you could need to stay overnight in the European city where you change planes and you should read carefully the Terms and Conditions of the ticket for your leg with the low cost airline in order to avoid surprises and to know how much will really cost your flight. BTW, in addition to the low cost airlines already quoted by previous users, you could also look at Transavia out of Amsterdam and Jetairfly out of Brussels.

Possibly Marrakech-Madrid-(or Barcelona)-Moscow-Washington. Price depends on your departure date.

Micky, I think the flight would have to be free to deviate as far as Moscow :)

According to Skyscanner on certain dates, the fare is reasonable and the journey time not too bad overall. I was doing it the other way obviously.

Mickey, you have to do fares originating from Washington or Baltimore use IAD, DCA or BWI as airport codes and return. Fares can be quite different depending on where you are originating even if its the same routing. Moscow is a lot of extra flying though for some if the fare is cheap why not.
