3 Months SA - Argentinia to Peru - Itinery?

Hej travellers,

I'm about to do my first big travel in my life in south america for 3 months from april to june...

Even 4 months ago, I'm already quite excited about my trip :)

I thought about starting in Ushuaia and then head north to TdP, Fitz Roy, BA, Iguazu, Bolivia (Pantanal), Machu Pichu and the end of my travel would be Lima.

What do you think about my plan? Is it realistic to do that in 3 months?

For my budget, i calculated with 3500 EUR including flight from europa...

I'm also looking for other travellers, who would join me, during my travel :)

Stefan

Totally doable. I'm planning for about the same route and about the same $$. I'll be starting
In Santiago and making a counter clockwise swirl from Tierra del Fuego to Buenos Aires and finishing in Lima.
I plan on camping a lot to keep my costs down, mostly cause I like to splurge on occasion.

I'll be there march till whenever, making my way north as the weather changes.

Good luck and pack smart!

Well I did more or less the same 2 or 3 times but you must be more specific to get some advice and speak about your interests in each place. From ushuaia there is an obvious route till El Chalten and abril is a great time as it is autumn but you have to be aware that days are getting shortes, it gets colder and there are increased chances to have some snow. Still good for trekking and hiking and all the other acyivities. From El Chalten you could go along the carretera Austral in chile which is amazing till Esquel, El Bolson and Bariloche. from Iguazu you could also consider to go to Salta (the surroundings are amazing and from there to Bolivia.
