Villazon to Mendoza

Hello,

I am catching a bus tomorrow from La Paz, Bolivia to the boarder of Bolivia to Argentina (Villazon). Then crossing the boarder and getting a bus from there to Mendoza. Is this possible? What is the easiest way to do this?
I am wondering how many hours it is by bus from Villazon to Mendoza, Argentina? Does anyone recommend a good bus company to travel with?

You have to go to Jujuy or Salta first but why don´t you spend some days in the amazing places around there, like Tilcara, Purmamarca, cachi or Cafayate? Better options than Mendoza!

I believe you will have to get to Salta, and catch a bus from there to Mendoza.

I will refrain from entering another Mendoza vs Salta debate. ;)
