Scrubb, I'd try not to think about it and ask her to please sift the flour in the future.I have got into the habit of freezing the flour and then sifting it before it goes in anything ever since I discovered a 2 cm long insect pupa in the flour. I only found the thing because I was stirring together a flour/baking powder/salt mix with my hand and discovered a lump. Every now and then the sifting turns up little brown beetles.
Incidentally, a complaint to the flour producer yielded four 2 kg packs of flour and huge box of chocolates.
