Study Abroad Nice- Budget Q'sHello Everyone! This is my first post but I am a long time browser travelling by myself for the first time. I will be living in Juan les Pins from December through May for school. While there, I would like to see the following:
Cinque Terre- 1 day
London->Iceland- 4 days
Madrid- 2 days
Casablanca- 3 days
Amsterdam/Rotterdam- 2 days
Most will be extended weekend trips (Thursday through Sunday). I may add one or two more.
Cell phone $300.00
Excursions & Sight-seeing $3,500.00
Please let me know if this is reasonable or do I have my head in the clouds?
Thank you in advance for your advice!!

1Your budget for food will be sligtly less than 400 Euro per month, roughly 100 per week. You won't be able to go out each night, but you won't starve either. Will you have access to a kitchen?
Money for the cell phone will be less than 40 Euro per month. Depending on where you call and how long you speak, this can be a bit low.
Laundry money seems to be very low, that's about 12 Euro per month. If you can find a cheap public laundry (or does your school provide one?) it may be enough, but Juan-les-Pines is not exactly a cheap place.

You should state this figure in euros, because that's what your expenses will be in.
i don't know how anybody can give a meaningful answer to this. You could try reading the budget sticky:
But i don;t know how anybody can tell you anything meaningful based on the incomplete information you provided. E.g 1 day Cinque Terre. Will you need accommodation? of not because it's a day trip (no night)? and how much will travel to CT cost?
same with all the other things. And how do we know how much your accommodation in Juan les Pins will cost? Or is that not included in your $ 4,961?

4Sorry for the ambiguity. The cost is in USD but I have converted to USD.
Trips 2 days or more will need accommodation (hostel)
Cell phone €230
Excursions & Sight-seeing €2700
The room covers a studio one block from the beach equipped with full kitchen wi-fi,towels,heat,gas,water etc

5Food will be not more than 13€ per day - what means if you make you cooking for six month each day by yourself in your studio at can be ok. But of course without a bottle of wine or inviting other students. Cell phone ok but without calling often back home, especually not if outside of France and hoping nobody will call you when in Iceland.

8#4 - From December (in fact from October) to April living near the beach or somewhere in the middle of nowhere is the same. JlP in this time is a dead town. If you will buy a Baguette in the morning you need to take the next bus to go to Antibes, same for markets, super markets, Bistos or Brasseries. The nearest Mac Donald is on a round point on the border to Golf Juan.

9Aribo, Casablanca is a good idea if you will eat something hot for cheap.
