Rio anyone?
I am going to Rio and Paraty the weekend of Dec 1 and don't have a travel partner. Would love to meet other lone travelers to explore, have dinner and drinks, maybe go to a balada....after just people watching on the beach. If you like to talk, laugh, discover and meet people -- or know of any ways to meet Cariocas while in Rio -- please let me know! I speak pretty good Portuguese.3
Check out with the hotel staff where the best bars around your area are. If they recommend taking a cab, make sure they call one up for you.The cariocas are mostly open minded and friendly. Just strike up a conversation with someone at a bar or a balada. Groups of people are usually more receptive.
