1I am quite sure there is no direct flight anyway. You will have to connect in Sao Paulo.

3There are 4 flights a week, non stop (to Brazilian side).
I got them on the Chilean Lan website, -reservas y servicios-consulta de itinerario-lima a foz de iguazu, and I looked up through to april-may-june 2013.

6One of the things that frustrates me about TTT is when people reply sounding absolutely definite when they obviously don't actually know! So yes: there are direct flights from Lima-Foz do Iguacu. In fact there have been for nearly two years now. The flights haven't been released on to the UK LAN website for after April yet but as posted above, you can purchase them on the Chilean or Peruvian sites, or through the UK call centre - although I think there's a £10 admin charge for that.
The route has been a popular one for LAN and has worked pretty well for them so it's unlikely to be dropped anytime soon (famous last words, I know...). In fact, I think the tie-up with TAM makes this route even more logical for them as it ties right into TAM's domestic network.

Are you sure?
I went to the Peruvian site and, as well as in the Spanish site, it only allows me to book flights changing planes in Sao Paulo (I looked at late April). However, as mpa pointed out in #3, I can see the schedule of the direct flights (both in the Peruvian site and in the Spanish site) in April 2013 (I didn't look at other months).

10LAN is merged with TAM, so you can call whatever number. I've recently contacted TAM on their US 1800 number and no problems, just make sure you call in business hours as in the evening estimated waiting time they've quoted me was 30 min ;-)
You can use skype to call 1800 us number without any credit.
