Study In India.

Hello world my name is Hugo, I'm 21 and I'm Inspired!!
I'm currently living in Australia but I'm travelling back to India in January and looking to study there for (hopefully) some time.
So now I am searching for a place to study creative writing in either Tamil Nadu, Kerala or the far North (but helpful tips for anywhere would be great)
If anyone can suggest or recommend a place to potentially study writing, poetry or philosophy or if they know of any short courses
or maybe even a contact I could connect with I'd be very grateful, it could change my life quite literally.

Thank you.
H

My typist was an MA in English. Had to fire her. The lady was depressed and made too many errors.

I thought the OP wrote poverty instead of poetry. maybe its the same thing. But, there is no peotry since T S Elliot (warning a neoclassical screed).

I have a friend who is a PHD Philosphy major from Berkeley waiting for a full time job. Heard today its about as likely as a snowball in Hades. However, its a good degree for applying to law school as you can argue all ways and the truth, if there is any, matters less than the art of making a statement (LSAT stats)..

Check out this link of British Council in India.
They have branches in Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad and do have "Creative writing" courses.

There are no good places to study indian philosophy no more, get hold of the upanishads and yoga vasistha on the internet and do it yourself. Have heard they teach vedas at the parmarth niketan in rishikesh,
