Internal flights help please!

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anybody could recommend the best way to book an internal flight from Bangkok to Koh samui?

I just attempted to book with the first website that came up on Google, which was domestic flights Thailand but after typing in all my details the website crashed. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

there are no direct flights to Koh Samui. You can fly on air asia/ thai smile / bangkok air / nok air from Bangkok to Surat Thani, at the airport buy a combined bus+ferry ticket to Koh Samui.

www.bangkokair.com
www.airasia.com (flights to Surat Thani then transfer to pier and ferry)

To do what you're doing, or any flight route, I use the flight booking websites - skyscanner or jetabroad to do a search on the route. That will tell you which airlines fly the route. Then you can go to the airline's website directly and compare prices. You can usually get the cheapest ticket direct from the airline's website, although not always.

As shown by #4, Bangkok Air's website is working normally - book direct.

A lot of people who use booking websites don't realise that it could cost them heaps. If all goes well, and they fly as scheduled, you might sometimes score a cheaper deal than booking direct with the carrier. If you need to cancel, however, you lose big time by not booking direct with the airline, as I found out to my cost. Had to cancel a flight with TG that I booked via Zuji. Thai took $200 refund fee - and Zuji took another $150 as "admin fees" (which also has to cover their loss of commission of course). Since then I only ever book direct with TG.

The booking websites are the best way to find out which airlines fly a particular route - then go to the airline's website direct. I made the same mistake as Bangkok Boy with Zuji a few years ago. Never again!

Advice to fly with Airasia or Nok Air for cheap airfare (Airasia you can buy combo Bus+Boat at their counter)

Okay, tried to book with Bangkok Airways and the exact same thing happened, got to the payment page and then it didn't process. Can't believe it. Don't know what to do now.
