Kolkata with kids
Going to Kolkata in in Feb half term to visit husbands family. Have been few times before and they have spent alot of time watching tv in in-laws house! Principally going to see family but would really like any ideas of places to take them. It is too far and too expensive to spend time watching telly! Would be based in Barrackpore to the north of kolkata. Kids are 11, 12 & 14. Thanks1

ferry from Howrah station upstream to Kurmatala where they make all the idols for Durga and Kali Puja-then walk back along the river to the flower market under Howrah Bridge and watch the men wrestling next to the ghats.
