Getting a Post Office Box in Pattaya

Hi, I'm going to have to get a post office box at the post office on (where else) Soi Post Office, Pattaya.

I haven't done this before. As a foreigner, is it a straightforward process, or is there anything special I should know?

BTW, if there's anyone out there who knows the business hours and days during which a post office box can be opened, I'd appreciate it if they'd pass them along. It would save me a considerable walk in this heat.... :)

Thanks, people.

I hope that's all you are going to get on soi post office...you do know what else that street is famous for?

I once went along with a friend when he got a PO box, it seemed easy enough.... he had to show his passport, I think it cost him 500 baht/year ?

#1 Just to be sure I googled it, and I know what you are referring to, but while it might exist there, I'm sure it is available from any friendly Pattaya Soi, LOL.

Okay TBL I followed your lead and googled. I guess you could say I was blown away by what I saw on You Tube. However it still looked tame compared to Soi 6 on You Tube.
