Legian is the busy part of Bali. Its next to Kuta or better said intergrated with it. There are many bars and a lot of young people who wants to learn to surf.Sanur is a bit quieter, it has a lot of big hotels on the coast line, and the average age of the visitors is higher.
Both cities have nice restaurants, bars, hotels.....Its all what u like to spend....
