Finding work for the older gap year traveller!

Hi,

Have packed in my career and am looking to make 2013 an amazing year of travel, working as I go along, but struggling a bit with the fact that I can not make use of the holiday working type visas available in Oz etc, because the cut off is 30 and I am 33, any tips on where to start looking for legal work, where work permits are easier to get or the employer helps?

To be honest don't really mind where, just further afield than Europe, and then I will base my trip from there. I have admin experience, care work, hospitality, factory work, will put my hand to most things!

Thanks

Although, the OP doesn't specify whether they are looking to live somewhere or just keep traveling. We can only assume they want to live and work as that is what this forum is about. So, why not consider working in hospitality? I know the bigger hotel chains many have training programs that will send people abroad to live and work at one of their hotels. Marriott does it, and I am sure many others do too.
Otherwise, why not try teaching english in any country that interests you. I dont know what countries that would be as you dont say... but that is an option to consider.
