Noel Kempff in the last decade of december...Hi All!
We planed to visit north part of the Noel Kempff park (Flor de Oro) in the end of december from Santa Cruz. We want to see waterfalls (Ahlfeld and Arcoiris) and fauna. We have some questions:
1. Is price 734$ resonable for group of 5 persons and 5-day tour? I see the the the price of 500$ for 7-day trip in south part (in this forum).
2. As I understand, Dec is rainy season. What type of rain can we expect: heavy shower, thunderstorm or drizzle? May be to see this park in rainy season is not a good idea?

1You can expect any kind of the rain in this time of the year, it can be very bad not allowing you to depart at all or it can be just minor. It's can't be said for 100% how this rainy season will look like, it's not monsoon and it's highly unpredictable. Regardless this is not the best time of the year to travel, so be prepared to delays and even cancellations. If you can move it even to the begining of the month it can change things a lot.
It usually starts to rain heavy in Santa Cruz department around Xmes and it ends at the beginning of April.
