Visa/Reciprocity Fees Brazil/Argentina
I am working with a group with planned destinations of Rio, Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina from the US.I know the Visa into Brazil (at present) costs $160. When we travel to Argentina I understand that another $160 has to be paid on-line prior to traveling to that country regardless as to whether we came to Argentina from the US or from Brazil.
Is this correct?

160 dollars? geez, I just paid 55 AUD for my Brazil Visa....Argentina only requires a fee on landing at the two airports in BA for certain countries. See the link #3 posted.

As of January 7, 2013, the Argentine reciprocity fees will be payable at ALL entry points, land, sea or flight. :(
