Bus number 7 connects the airport to Kim Ma bus station.
Bus number 17 connects the airport to Long Bien bus station.
Kim Ma is just to the west of the main city.
Long Bien is on the NE corner of the Old Quarter (near enough)
You did not say what time you arrive. The last bus is 2200 hours

^ taking into consideration wear and tear on bicycle tyres and depreciation of 20% per annum on the bicycle, and oil and grease for the chain, the bus at 5,000 VND may be the best option as the cheapest transfer.You would probably have to spend a dollar or two for water and a dollar for sunscreen with the bicylce option anyway.
