Belgrade Day TripsHey folks,
So I'll be arriving in Belgrade Monday, November 26th and will be there until Sunday, Dec 2nd.
I'm hearing nothing but good things about the city from people that have traveled through.
My question: does anyone have any recommendations on day trips outside of the city?
As much as I love being inside a city, I don't want to regret missing-out on some historic place (or town) outside Belgrade.
If there's any places to explore, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Thank you and please.
I'll be coming up from Sofia, Bulgaria. So if there's any place between Sofia and Belgrade worth seeing/visiting, I'm all ears.

Maybe along the top Bulgaria roads (BG/RO border) and follow some of the Danube.
Ruse is a nice city, but much of Bulgaria is pretty cold in late November.

4In terms of strictly "day" trips out of Belgrade, the main destination that is close enough and worth half a day's sightseeing is probably Novi Sad, perhaps with a stop on the way at the fortress overlooking the river, and at the quaint village of Sremski Karlovci. The trip is entirely feasible on public transport, with very frequent bus connections.
