FAVORITE STOPOVER DESTINATION?

Hi there!
I am currently writing a blog about best airline stopovers. They are a great way to visit a city without having to invest money in accommodation and additional flights.
What are your favorite stopover destinations? I would like to hear about airport facilities, distance to the city, etc.

If you are interested in visiting my blog you can read about the best stopover destinations that I have found so far. No. 1 is Singapore, no. 2 is Dubai and no. 3 is Seoul.

Let me know what you think!

What other stopover destinations have you researched? Why did you find them worse than the stopovers you quoted?
BTW, Why don't you quote Asiana when talking about Seoul?

With the new BTS line it's now a simple train ride then a short taxi ride to wherever you are staying.

Schiphol, Johannesburg, Toronto, Ataturk.
Probably more, but they came straight to mind.

Thanks for all your tips. Bangkok is awesome too, but the city is quite far away, so I guess it can take quite long to get to the city. I haven't been to Schiphol, Toronto or Ataturk. Johannesburg is also very far from the city, isn't it?

In regards to Anillos de Staruno, other destinations don't offer easy access to the city, even though the airport facilities are great. My personal no. 3 represent the best value for your time. Dubai and Singapore city are easy to reach from the airport and the airport facilities are excellent. Seoul is further away, but the Korean Airlines hotel deal makes up for it in my opinion.
Does Asiana also offer a free stay at hotel if your stopover is over a certain length?

I don't know for sure but in that case you aren't only rating airports but the services offered by the airlines that use them as a hub too. In other words, it's not clear for me if you are rating the best airports to make a stopover (regardless of the airline(s) you are flying with) or the best airlines to use in order to get a (free) stopover or a mix of both.
