Train: Kigoma-Dar
Hello.I'm hoping to get the train from Kigoma to Dar in the New Year. I have looked on seat61 and the train has previously run, I'm just wondering if anyone has done this recently and how I go about getting tickets. I'm living in Nairobi.
Any advice gratefully received.

I was in Kigoma at the beginning of September and the train was running but they only had third class tickets available as the first class carriage had been removed. Unfortunately I can't remember which day the train left Kigoma. I decided against the train and got the bus instead.It was very difficult to find any information, even after speaking to the station master at the station. The 3rd class fare was19,100 Tsh and it was around 60,000 Tsh for a 1st class ticket.
