Cheap accommodation in Batumi

Hi,

I stayed in Batumi for 10 GEL/night (less than 5 euro). This is half the price of the cheapest accommodation mentioned in LP. So I thought this info might be useful for people on a small budget.
It's a kind of homestay in the outskirts of town (less than 5 km from the centre). It's situated in between the railway station (Makhinjauri) and the city, so also handy if you need an early train. But if you want to party hard it's probably better to stay in the centre, cause they close the house at night.

Directions: take the bus from the railway station to the city centre (1 or 101 if I remember well, but check to be sure). Get off after two km, just before a small bridge. At your right you will see some apartment blocks with green, red and blue balconies. Cross the street and the railway crossing and walk in this street for a few hundred metres till you see a white fenced building on your left. Go inside and go up to the first floor.
The name of the street is Kavtaradze (you can find it on Google Maps).
You can call the owner (the sun speaks English) on 555 55 97 73

Cheers.
