Questions on Gyeongju (transportation & accommodation)

Hello all,

I am thinking to go to Gyeongju end of this month, and a few questions appreciate your advice:

1) I will probably land in Busan, is there any reliable bus company recommened from Busan to Gyeongju? And how much the ticket will be?

2) Nice accommodation recommend around USD 50/night? I would prefer traditional Korea house, like Ondol... etc

3) How is the public transportation in Gyeongju? is it convenient if I travel from one tourist spot to another one?

4) Does taxi take meters in Gyeongju?

5) How about rent a car in Gyeongju? any reliable car rental company ? how about the cost?
