3 Days transit visa, how to obtain it?
I would love to visit Saudi Arabia. The 3 days fly in, fly out transit visa would be perfect, but:1. How do I obtain it? Is it difficult?
2. Will I be allowed to stay in a hotel in Riyadh of my own choice?
3. Tourist visas are not issued for Saudi Arabia, but the transit visa bacially allows you to be a tourist in Saudi Arabia for 3 days?
I was not able to find answers to the above questions anywhere on the internet so your help is very much appreciated!

I have heard about a 3 days visa on this forum... if not... how can I obtain the 18 hours transit visa? and can I walk around freely in Riyadh and select the hotel I want myself?Many thanks in advance.

I think there's some confusion there. Less than 18 hours (transit) does not require a visa... but most likely you not be able to leave the airport. 18-72 hrs requires a transit visa, that would allow you to leave the airport.I'm looking at flying Saudia airlines with an 18:10 layover in Jeddah... what are the chances of getting the transit visa?
