Nairobi accommodation

I will be staying in transit for a few days in Nairobi in early December. I need a reasonably priced but clean and safe place to stay. Any tips? An internet connection would be a definite requirement. Any location.

Greatful of any advice! Thanks!

hi

OP- I have stayed in apartments in Nairobi on 3 occasions for 5-6 weeks and could give some info on that if you need but at this time it seems you are only looking for a short stay in which case I once stayed at the A.C.K Guesthouse and was very comfortable at a single person rate of 3500KES per night. Centrally located, 24 hr security, onsite restaurant with good food and WiFi in the lobby and some rooms depending on signal strength vs room location. A.C.K is certainly not a hostel where rates are cheap and guests are packed like sheep but it also is not a highend hotel where they want your left arm. :)

safe travels!

cheers

What do you class as reasonably priced. I would recommend the Fairview Hotel which is in the $120 region.

Thanks guys. Reasonably priced would be maximum 75 USD. I know I'd get good ones for 100, but cannot afford it in this case.

Try the Wildebeest Eco Camp. You can get a deluxe tent for $75 US per night. There are other options as well. We stayed there 3 nights last month and loved it.
