Mexico City

THE BEST MOMENT EVER
I went to The Trajineras in México City with all my friends, it was amazing. I am going to talk about my experience there. To get to the Trajineras you must walk through the market where you can see, typical handmade toys, handicrafts, pottery, clothes and beautiful things made by artisans. We arrived at 2pm, where the Trajineras are, and they were lots of them, and they were colourful and decorated with flowers, they were fascinating. We chose one, and got into it. We sat down and we set the speaker with our IPod, took out all our food, drinks and we started the party. We danced all the time, ate, drank, talked with people in other Trajineras, it was awesome.
You really have to bring your IPod, food, disposable plates, money (400 pesos, around 35 dollars), drinks like vodka, soda and with all the possible energy. Don’t bring your speaker you can rent one there.
You have to come here, it’s an new experience traveling all over a famous lake at a Trajnera.

The personal story apparently took place in Xochimilco, on the southern edge of Mexico City, Mexico. For information: a "trajinera" is a punt, or boat.

I'm sorry I missed the party Fernanda, your friend looks cute!

I wouldn't say all over the lake as the normal boating area seems pretty small, maybe a 4-5 hundred meters long. Go on a busy day and it's bumper cars between the boats. It is fun and a big party when ever you go
