I think the times you spend in each place are perfect and you have. I just got back not long ago from there and my itinerary was similar but in differnet order.@1 She has 3-4 days in Ha Noi, March 21 - 23 = 3 days and March 26th she is there for a full day and night.
Carolyn, enjoy your trip, you are going to love it.

Hi,I can give you some advice for your trip in Sapa. Its much better to book directly in Sapa that in Hanoi, there is many specialist agency in Sapa and you will spend less money that to book a tour from Hanoi.
In my case I've book a tour with SapaTravelmate and i was very happy.
Hope it can help you.

^ tout above while it lasts-(Ignore this when the tout is zapped)OP Ww have opted to fly where possible to maximize our time.
Only way to go...that way you don't need a holiday after Vietnam to recover from the sleepless train and bus journeys.
