1 month Itinerary Feedback
3 of us are going to Brazil in February for ~1 month. We will be staying in Rio for Carnival (booked room already) and then going to Iguazu, Pantanal, Amazon and back to Rio and the surrounding area. We decided to skip the Salvador area as we are pretty dead set on doing both the Amazon and Pantanal. We have done extensive research for all the areas and do understand the costs. Here is our current tentative plan:
Feb 6 - Depart for Rio
Feb 7 - Feb 13 Rio Carnival (staying at Mango Tree)
Feb 14 - fly to Iguazu
Feb 15 - Iguazu (looking at HI hostel there; is 1 FULL day enough? was considering 2)
Feb 16 - fly to Cuiaba/Pantanal
Feb 17-20 - Pantanal (looking at EcoExplorer; I've seen other highly rec places but they are considerable more $)
Feb 21 - fly to Manaus/Amazon
Feb 22-24 - Amazon (looking at Amazon Antonio, Amazon Backpackers, Gero)
Feb 25 - fly back to Rio
Feb 26 - Mar 5 - Rio and surrounding area (prob go to Ilha Grande/Paraty for a few days)
Mar 6 - Depart back home
Any thoughts, suggestions or comments are welcome! Any insight on some of the tours we are looking at are appreciated a well! Thanks!

If you get into Iguazu on the morning of February 14, you should be able to see the Brazilian side of the falls in the afternoon and then spend a full day on the Argentinian side.
