Come to visit Veraguas

Veraguas is a province of Panama. Its capital is the city of Santiago de Veraguas. This province is characteristic for being the only one in the Republic of Panama with coasts in both oceans, Atlantic and Pacific, so many can visit many beaches. Its capital, Santiago, is one of the largest banking centers in the country, and it also has many stores. It’s also home to agriculture (corn, rice, sugar cane, plantains), cattle-raising and lumber (for buildings, cabinet-making, dyes and medicinal purposes) industries.
For this coming month Veraguas will have Parades and Fiestas Celebrations: Santiago will have the other provinces' delegations (the seen for music, parades and fiestas), 3-4 and 9. of Nov. 2012 will be the Cry for Independence for Santiago. It is 3.5 hours from Panama City and less than 3 hrs. from David City, Chiriqui; and so on other districts have their own celebrations.
