Cheap Accom in KL

The Tune Hotel in Ermita is currently advertising a room for $25 CAD in Jan and again in Feb 2013. The Tune at LCCT is more like $35 per nite.

Is it possible to pay less that this in KL? Does anyone know when Tune's next promo sale is or how to catch a sale beside checking everyday?

Are there currently any other cheap options (under $25) close to the LCCT? (Most post on this subject are several years old.

i am in kl for today only on way to india.there are lots of small hotels around pasar seni and brickfields for that price and less. dont forget your hardhat and hi vis vest.this place is a construction site.

bus from lcct is 8rm each way. would take similar time as bus to klia.about an hour

Thanks Blakee88 .....sounds like it is not necessary to book in advance....I am there twice for Jan 8 flight to Manila and back again Feb 19.

Yep, go online to find small places. Have stayed a lot at the two KL Tune Hotels - city and airport. While they're certainly functional, would only stay if able to get the (huge) discounts of (very) advanced bookings ...
