Roatan from Antigua Guatemala Fast!
Hey all!I am getting married in Antigua, Guatemala next May and all the wedding party is spending 2 weeks. The idea was to spend a week in Guatemala and a week in the Bay Islands. Any idea what the fastest way would be to get there?
We've taken the bus before but would love a slightly quicker solution.

Taca's good. They serve you real food and treat you like human beings. San Salvador has great duty free shops especially if you like good rum.3
Commandeer a bus enroute from Guatemala City to San Pedro Sula, then drive straight through (not stopping at Gran Terminal Metro) to Laceiba, as fast as it will go.4
You can take a shuttle to San Pedro Sula and fly to Roatan....but for speed, just fly out of GUA straight to Roatan.5
Flying requires a stop over I think in ES.With a lot of people, try to arrange a driver in a van, and make your own shuttle to SPS and then fly from there to Roatan..flights around 330-430pm. I would fly out Roatan from region, otherwise going back would be a pain in the arse all over again. A 8 passenger van I bet would not be a lot for the day. Maybe $400- $600?
