I'm heading to Fiji in a couple of weeks with my partner and we're worried about budget and looking to do things as cheaply as possible. Most searches I've done just return back budget accommodation - we've already booked the accommodation and as we are going for a wedding, we had no choice in this and are staying at the Shangri-la. I know this is far from a budget place, but there was very little choice in the matter.
Any tips on things to do/places to eat/general practices to avoid a huge bill? We're there for 6 nights and breakfast is included, but obviously there'll be lunch, dinner and activities for the non wedding days.
Any and all help is much appreciated, I am stressing about this greatly!

you are staying in an area called the Coral Coast. The following link has a number of ideas of things to see and do while staying there

2Bring stuff to read. Tours and water sports will be an extra charge, so keeping yourself entertained will aid your savings, not that sitting on the beach or poolside all day is a huge burden to bear.
The Shangri-la is not near any great population center, so your biggest problem will be getting stuck with exorbitant prices for food and drink at the hotel. Just down the road from the hotel is Cuvu village (pronounced "thuvu"), there will be small stores there where you can buy bottled water, beer, snacks, etc. I'm not sure what the hotel's policy on bringing this stuff back is, but no doubt you could fill a backpack to keep your room stocked up and no one would be the wiser.
If you like to have a few drinks, stop in at the duty free at Nadi airport when you arrive. Wine and spirits are significantly cheaper here.
