Hi can you tell me what is the best way to go from Panama city to Playa Coronado area? Thank you1
I would suggest a bus from the main bus terminal in Albrook, but honestly, I don't know about how to book the return - ie: where their hub is in Coronado, and then, how to get to the beach from there - most likely taxi, but I would not know that cost. Would be interested to see what others tell you on here. In the meantime, let me ask around and see if I can find out more details for you. When are you looking to go?2
Looks like a bus ride is going to be your best bet. Get your original ticket at the terminal in Albrook. If they can't book you a return ticket, you buy it on the bus on the way back - which is a bus stop right on the Panamerican Hwy - just catch a bus coming back to Panama City/Albrook. Either way, it should only be about $15 each way. And, as far as a taxi, it shouldn't be too difficult to catch one, and it's not as far as I had thought. Should only be about a $5 ride to the beach. Where are you staying in the city? Are you familiar with the Albrook terminal?4
Well, there is quite a bit of "beach area" here in Panama, so there is going to be a cost variation depending upon where you are wanting to go. Wherever you are lodging in the city when you get here should be able to help you get to the Albrook bus terminal with no problem. I was asking where you are staying so I might give you a better idea of what it would take to get to the terminal. However, if you have not decided on where you are going to stay yet, I can certainly give you some suggestions depending upon your budget and what you are looking for.
