Prebooking a bus from Prague - PecHi,
I've booked a few days in Pec Pod Snezkou over New Years, and am planning on catching a bus there from Prague. I've found the bus/times on the IDOS website, but it doesn't seem to allow booking seats. Does anyone know if there's a way to pre-book a seat from overseas? Alternatively, what are the chances of availability by just turning up the Friday before New Years? Worried we'll be stranded as it's a peak time!
Thank you so much for any help x

1There are several direct buses per day to Pec pod Snezkou from Prague's Cerny Most station (at the eastern end of the yellow metro line), and more during the winter ski season, and most of these can be reserved through the link on the IDOS website. December 28th is too far ahead to be listed on the website yet, for the moment they have listings only until December 8th because December 9th is the day the new transit schedules come into effect. The IDOS site should have the new schedules for beyond December 8th listed sometime in November, keep checking the site. If you did turn up without a reserved seat it could be very full at that time with people headed to the ski hills, but there are enough buses that you could probably get a ticket for one of them, just maybe not on one that departs at a time that is convenient for you. If you want peace of mind about this, book it at least a week or two ahead.
