trekking guide in tana toraja

Hi!
I was wondering if someone could inform me about the price of a good trekking guide in Tana Toraja, I've already planned my trip, and everything, but I just can't seem to find a good guide for three days.
Thanks for your help!

Hi,

Here is the website of a local guide that was organised by one of his happy satisfied travellers years ago.
Tana Toraja Guide Daud
and here is an excellent POST with many reports of excellent experiences with various local guides in Tana Toraja.

It's quite easy to see the more famous Toraja sites not far from Rantepao without a guide.

Day 1 Lemo, Londa, Kete Kesu
Day 2 Batutumonga, Lokomata

But Do hire a guide to take you to the more remote villages. They know where the latest funeral and wedding ceremonies are taking place.

Check my previous post for more details (note: prices change)

Forum member "phs" has some good info about Batutumonga at

I was in Rantepao recently: Mart's Café (which is often metioned in previous posts about Toraja guides), no longer excists.
