1I doubt and have never heard of LP picking the 1# place in the world to be.I also doubt if they did,SL would even be in the top 10.!.Sounds like spinning the story and simple misinformation.SL is the last place I would want to be,with all of their over priced hotels and taxis,distain for budget travelers,and ..

They had given time last 30 year’s to the budget travels that can carry the Sri Lanka Tourism, but now No more need them.
Now Sri Lanka is looking for tourist who can burn the $ ))))))

I've been grounded for a while and looking for the next destination for the NY - I have come to the same conclusion as the weight of opinion above (so your comments are valued).
But running out of ideas, everywhere is a revisit, probably therefore Laos, Th and Vietnam.
