Single or Twin Rooms

Hi all,

Need some advice from a local or someone has travelled in Iran. I am male and will be travelling with my female friend. We are not married, not even a couple or boyfriend girlfriend. We are JUST FRIENDS. So my question is are we able to share a room with two beds in hotels, or do we have to get single rooms. We would like to share as it is cheaper, but we understand that this may not be acceptable as well. Any advice will be good. Thanks.

Hi
I hope all is good with you and you are very welcome to Iran.
I am owner of a guest house in Iran((Desert village of Toudeshk 100km away from Esfahan towards Yazd))
For foreigners it is not a problem to share a room even with mixed sex.
Enjoy your travel to Iran
Regards
Mohammad

No problem in sharing rooms.
I have been travelling fo 2 weeks with my friends and we were 2 men and 3 women. A couple of times we shared a room for 5 people and nobody told us anything, so don't worry about it.

Thanks for your reply. That is what I was hoping for. What is your hotel? Maybe we will check it out.

hi
i am an Iranian citizen.you know its so rare that u can find a room in hotel and share it with ur female friend. u should book 2 rooms in hotel. but in other cities most of time u can find local houses to rent . they are so kind people and sometimes they can prepare u local dishes too. if i know ur itinerary, i may help u more.
