Welcome to TT!
How many time do you have exactly (about two days is quite vague)?
That question is relevant because Granada would mean a detour in your way to Morocco and we would need to know how many time you have to visit the city in order to know if it would be advisable to make it in this trip or to leave it for a future trip with more time.
What are your interests? What do you plan to make/visit during your stay in that city?
I'll be there with a girlfriend of mine and I think we would like the opportunity to see some interesting sights in the daytime, maybe check out some museums and ruins and then have access to a good nightlife and interesting food. She also brought up Cordoba as an option. Any thoughts on that?
Thanks!

I think it may help if you look up your train and bus connections, accommodations etc Also check if there are still tickets available for Alhambra for the dates you want. You really can't go wrong with these destinations, so look at what makes the most sense to you.
Córdoba is the closest city to Sevilla in terms of travel time. It isn't the closest city (in terms of travel time) to Algeciras (or Tarifa) where you would take the ferry to Morocco. The closest city (among those quoted so far) by travel time to Algeciras (or Tarifa) is Cádiz.

Depends on your interests of course, but I think most people who have been to both would choose Granada.(I guess you are talking about the city in Spain, not the Caribbean island).3

Thank you all for your responses! To answer questions: I leave Sevilla the 3rd of November and I need to be back in Morocco by the 5th, the 6th at the latest. I would love to spend time in Granda but if it is too far out of the way it might not make sense. I don't want to spend more time travelling than enjoying the sights!I'll be there with a girlfriend of mine and I think we would like the opportunity to see some interesting sights in the daytime, maybe check out some museums and ruins and then have access to a good nightlife and interesting food. You would have enough time to go to Granada (depart from Sevilla in the morning of Nov. 3rd) so I think that could be a good option for you. Good nightlife and sights in Granada. You can take a bus or a train from Sevilla to Granada and a train from Granada to Algeciras. Bus company: Alsa. Train company: RENFE.9
Cordoba is beautiful as well... Not an easy choice ;-)I think it may help if you look up your train and bus connections, accommodations etc Also check if there are still tickets available for Alhambra for the dates you want. Indeed, Córdoba is the closest city in terms of travel time and good to see in one day, at least the basics. In two days you can even visit Medina Azahara and Romero de Torres museum.11
