Accomadation

Hi,

My partner and I are flying from Davao to Clark in a weeks time and where hoping that some experienced travelers out there might be able to give us a few tips on Accommodation.

First our priorities are Clean with windows, preferably in a quiet spot, not next to a videoke house hahaha.
We will be staying 1 night in Davao then flying to clark for 2 days before heading to Malaysia.
As we haven't spent time in these cities and where almost at the end of our 10 month trip, we are on a bit of a budget. I travel with surfboards so The less time in public transport the more comfortable it is for us but if the place is good I have enough straps to tye them anywhere.

Any advise on accommodation would be fantastic.

Thanks

In Davao, try looking up "My Hotel" 995phph/nite. http://www.myhoteldavao.com/ Ask for a window room, not all have them. If you are coming from Surigao, its less than 15minutes from the bus terminal but still minimum 1/2 hour from the airport.

Near Clark google Tune Hotels, haven't stayed there but good prices, the one in Cebu is very clean.

the php995 rooms at the MY hotel in Davao are a rip off.
Much better is the Sampaguita tourist inn. Quirino avenue Davao.
rooms cost from Just php325 a night. all rooms have windows. tvs. and there is free wifi.
you can take a Jeppeny ride out side the Sampaguita tourist inn going right passed
the Davao airport for php16. or a taxi for php175.
for Clark you can find rooms for less than php500 a night
just look at www.biyahero.net for prices and photos of places to stay.
C place hotel cost php320 a night.

Thanks for your replies,

As always after lots of google searches and asked advise, nothing beats walking around and actually walking into places to get the feel.

The place that we decided on in Davao with all the right ingredients are Viajero's also looked at France but where full.

In Angeles we decided to stay at Swiss appartelles.

Good price

Good price that is not ture.
Both the Viajaeros inn and swiss appartelles in Angeles are over priced.
the rooms at the viajeros are very small.
you can find much better places to stay in davao and Angeles for less money.
