Koh Tonsay or Koh Rong?

Or both?

How easy is it to get from Koh Tonsay to Koh Rong? Is there a boat service? I'd rather not have to go back to the mainland.

Also visting kep & kampot.

Thx

There is no boat service between the two islands-you will have to go back to the mainland.

naah, you can just hire a fishing boat! itll be a bit extra but saves you going to the mainland! Koh Rong is awesome!

so that's $20 each way - $80 if I do both, a plane to BK is cheaper :)

I,ve been to Rabbit Island only(Koh Tonsay) I can't recall how much the boat was-pretty sure it was nowhere near $40 though.

Koh Tonsai is beautiful and peaceful island, this is also my favorite place, it costs US$20 for both way going and coming back per boat for from 1pax to 5pax even you stay few days on the island, but the boat driver will take you back to mainland with this price.
Note: There is only an official boat association in Kep for boat rental to Koh Tonsai, you should purchase the boat ticket by yourself to prevent from any scam. There is no boat transport from Koh Tonsai to Koh Rong and it's not safe sometimes, the best way is overland drive. :)

Ok so this is my plan... (3 weeks) PP to Kep, then Koh Tonsai, back to Kep. then Kampot to SV and Koh Rong... ending in Koh Kong before heading back to Thailand. What can I say I like the beach, jungles too!

What's so bad about Rabbit island? I'd like to hear the pros and cons of both places, thanks for the price update.
