By bus from Luang Prabang to Vientiane

I don't think long distance buses from Luang Prabang would go under the local bus definition though?At least, I took a bus from Phonsavan to Vientiane and probably ended up at the northern bus station, it was a bit away from the center at least. And I think - but I'm not hundred percent sure as it was dark when I arrived, and dark when I left Vientiane - it was the same bus station where I got on my bus to Savannakhet.

#14 is referring to the local buses between Vientiane & Vang Vieng? there used to be local buses from that bus station to LPB, but this service ceased some years ago.as #16 said, PSV-VTE buses only go to the new northern bus station, which is different from the southern bus station where the buses to Savannakhet depart from...but both of these bus stations are some distance away from the city centre.
