Travelling to New Zealand

I am going on an official trip to New Zealand for 15 days. Our work will be completed within 8 - 10 days. So me and my colleagues thought to explore the city. What are the best things to do in New Zealand? Is there any adventurous place where we can have lots n lots of fun. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Where exactly will you be? North or South Island?

Which city?

The wording of your post does not suggest a high level of officialdom, but I am sure that there are things that will delight even you.

If its Auckland, head to Rotorua/ Taupo area. Plenty there to keep you occupied.

If you are coming to Auckland, I would highly recommend Rotorua for outdoor adventure activities. Also, you can find many activities in the north around bay of Islands. Where will you be visiting in New Zealand?

hi all , sorry for the incomplete information. I will be visiting in North Island of New Zealand. So what is the best place there to be explored or the adventurous one?

4 of us spent 5 days in Rotorua and managed to fit in some horse riding to the north along the beach and mountains, some off road driving, check out the thermals, do some great shopping in Taupo, a game of golf for the boys and a polynesian day spa for the girls. And of course the scenery all the time... Lake Taupo is shadowed by a massive mountain with 2 ski fields. We went in late June so there was snow, I'm not sure if there'd be snow there in summer. If you want more info on exactly where etc, let me know.

I will be in Auckland and we will be going in the beginning of February. So what kind of weather will be there? If its snowfall then we could go for an adventurous trip. How we will reach to Rotorua? What is there exactly? plz tell

You could try getting a guidebook from your local library, using the search function of this website or even trying google. It is probably a good idea to get off your bum and do a little research yourself - something that your earlier posts suggest that you are unwilling to do.

Snow conditions in Auckland in February are seldom good, but Rotorua is further to the south so conditions may be better.

You may also enjoy travelling to Scandinavia, where you will be able to meet other trolls. There are only hobbits in New Zealand.

Google maps will help.
So will hire cars or intercity coaches.

Or fly to Queenstown for a few days, and do the Rotorua thing if you have a day or two off in the middle of the main work.

(or the Viaduct, bridges to live under there)

Mr groo, if search engines are so helpful than nobody will ask any question in the forums. Forums are made so that one can share his/her travel experience or can ask questions....Thanks for ur reply....Finally i have decided i will visit Rotorua

Its not like every question you ask is one that no one has ever asked before. You have to also do your part and read those shared experiences.
