Need to find "SECURE" International Post in Northern Goa

Hey ( :
Going to Goa in November. I run an online business selling jewellery, so I need to find a "Secure" way
to send it Internationally. Looking for an International Courier service somewhere in-between Baga to Arambol to Mapusa...'that triangular area' is where I need to locate one (not Panjim please...its to far to go...and not a local office that claims to be a courier and then just takes it down to the local post office and sends it EMS).

Please don't just reply with a post to use Indian Post Offices...I know they have EMS and Tracking, but tracking is useless when many times a parcel is tracked to Delhi, eg. Shows up arrived in Delhi, that it has been dispatched, but then it is never seen again.
I don't want to 'track' a parcels journey in India, I want it to arrive guaranteed somewhere Internationally....sorry India, but your postage service is again-and-again proven to be un-safe.. I've had to many things go missing..
I want to send small packets...for example a single Necklace or a Ring inside a ring box.. and because it is small it will often disappear..

What I am hoping for is to hear from someone who has spent a lot of time in that area of Goa and they themselves know of a DHL or FEDEX or other reputable international courier service with door-to-door tracking? Maybe there is an office in Baga or Anjuna or Mapusa (not Panjim).

Maybe you have a friend who you know sends stuff internationally from Goa and they can recommend a company?

-I know I am giving Indian Post a hard time here, but I am being honest about mine and many other friends experiences of using Indian Post for many years now, and although some of you may have had no problems, many of us have, and I now need to find a way to guarantee the delivery of an item internationally as that has become my responsibility.. I can not take chances with other peoples money... So please, if anyone has any solid info on International Couriers that would be fantastic news..
Thanks Forum ( :

You`re flirting with circumventing customs duty. That ain`t playing by the rules.

You don`t need help to find a DHL, Blue Dart, Fedex or UPS office, they are all over. And will expect you to declare your shipment`s contents honestly.

Like Pirate says, they are all over, and if you and your friends had really been sending stuff for years you would know this. Personally, I have never sent anything DHL, but I still know where the office in Mapsa is, and why not Panjim ? You do realise that if you are caught conducting buisiness in India on a tourist visa you are liable to be thrown out and banned from re-entering !

You could try Deejays electrical shop opposite Hanuman cinema Mapusa, I use their courier for sending documents and other items, but not only do you have to declare the contents and value of such for insurance purposes and customs, you have to give yours and the recipients address and phone number.

I know that sounded a bit daft, but they will contact you and the recipient prior to sending.

I should also point out that some of the items I send, have a high value.

Their are 'issues' with sending jewelry out of India ... and not even the Indians play by the rules ... otherwise it doesn't get out.

Basically you have to find a courier that can get it to Dubai, or Germany kind of thing ... and then have it DHL'D or FedExed from there. It's not worth the hassle for one or two small pieces - your freight costs are going to overwhelm the cost of the actual pieces. The rules change all the time .. currently it's best to send it by the kilo ... not more than 2kg per package.

Isn't that how business in India operates? :-)

Not in my experience. Which is both recent and lengthy.

And for the OP. With the new single form for India Post, a couple stones with a kilo of fabric will, when sent registered, arrive complete at your destination. They may ask what is inside, but the single form is stitched on the outside.

They are likely to run over it a few times en route, however.
