wanna share a room in casas particulares and travel togheter?!!

i heard that travelling in Cuba is expensive. Since i am travelling like a backpacker i would like to try this too in cuba. That means i would like to share my room at a casa particulares,.. you have to pay for the room, not by person. so much easier with another person..

would you like to go with me? im arriving at 2 th of november in havana and wil travel for 3 weeks.

bit about me..

travelling for 9 months true south and central america.. my endgoal is mexico city! lets go and dance salsa!!

I think the best way to go about finding a travel mate for Cuba is to wait until you are in Cuba. I presume you will be using public transportation like Viazul. There are lots of other travelers on the same boat, so just be sure to strike up a conversation with someone, as there is an over-representation of young, mostly European independent travelers in Cuba. I have shared casas in Cuba with random people I met while taking the Viazul bus between cities. We just started talking on the bus and when we arrived in the city we were going to, we decided to share a casa.

I also recall once running into these 2 German guys, aged 21 approximately. They told me they met while waiting for their luggage after arriving in Havana on the same flight from Europe, and had spent 2 weeks traveling together. Good luck!

Hi hun,

stay in a hostel in Havana (there are two of them now) and meet some people there. I met various people on short trips to Havana at Rolandos Backpacker hostel with whom I then travelled for a few days/weeks. It's the best way of meeting other travellers when solo travelling in Cuba and it really saves heaps of money!
