Hi AllI am looking to rent a car for a trip around South Island in the month of Nov. Looking for the most recommended car rental companies in ChristChurch.
I have sent mails to apex and avis. I am looking for a small car. Need it for 10 days.

hieThe best car rental companies which I know and have experienced in Christchurch is : arguscarhire, acerentalcars . Both are good as per their charges and service.

Dear AllI have booked a car with ACE rentals and also paid for a GPS unit. However the rental company keeps saying that the GPS will be provided subject to availability.
Question: If I dont get a GPS, how do you find your way around cities and highways in South Island? Any recommended comprehensive maps?
