Which African country should i visit?

right. I am looking to spend a few months in an African country and would be interested to hear suggestions as to which one. To be honest, i am not to fussed about wildlife, i study anthropology and am much more interested in people and culture (for this reason West Africa or Ethiopa seem more appealing to me than Tanzania or Botswana, however maybe those countries have fascinating culture?) I have travelled a lot in Latin America and am completely in love with the passion and vibrance of those countries as well as the music and it seems to me that at least parts of Africa can rival them in this respect. In short, if like to go to the place with the craziest and most open people, the loudest music and some nice landscapes would be a bonus.
