Which African country should i visit?
right. I am looking to spend a few months in an African country and would be interested to hear suggestions as to which one. To be honest, i am not to fussed about wildlife, i study anthropology and am much more interested in people and culture (for this reason West Africa or Ethiopa seem more appealing to me than Tanzania or Botswana, however maybe those countries have fascinating culture?) I have travelled a lot in Latin America and am completely in love with the passion and vibrance of those countries as well as the music and it seems to me that at least parts of Africa can rival them in this respect. In short, if like to go to the place with the craziest and most open people, the loudest music and some nice landscapes would be a bonus.2
West Africa has the music culture tied up.North Africa is very middle Eastern and a tad deserty.
East Africa has plenty of adventure stuff happening, plenty of culture but not like the West.
Southern Africa has most of everything including whale watching, great white shark trips and plenty of stunning landscapes. Throw in a few decent rivers and rapids, a few deserts as well and there Africa encapsulated.
Pretty broad question.I only looked at Wilcos response as I thought he might mention that country no one goes to apart from the froggies.
Cheers.
