Markets
I will be in northern Vietnam in late March. I am a photographer. I want to visit several markets where I can photograph colorfully dressed people. These markets have been recommended to me. I will also take a trek or two out of Muang Sing. What do you recommend?Out of Bac Ha
Coc Ly
Lung Phin
Can Cau, Pha Long
Bac Ha (early before the buses)
Sapa (touristy)

Bac Ha markets are on Sunday mornings. And just for the record the local people do not change out of their colourful traditional costumes when the tourist buses arrive. Even if you travel there on a bus along with a load of other dreaded tourists and arrive on Sunday morning there are still beautiful photographs to be taken.
