Please recommend guides for the Mekong delta

Hi All,

I have 3 days/2 nights for the delta, and am looking for a private guide + car for this. I'll be happy and grateful for any recommendations coming from experienced travelers.

Thank you,
is.

About one year ago we used a young fellow named Luu Thien Binh for 5 days and he was just great.
His numbers then were 84 979 797 525

Binhthienluu@yahoo.com

I think he was involved with a travel company names Orient Lemongrass.

He was from the Delta and knew all the backroads and interesting places to see, things to do and was very good at ordering some great Vietnamese dishes in restaurants for us. He did not drive and came with a driver who was safe, with a new ford suv and was very nice although he did not speak english.

Hope this helps.

I stayed a couple of nights in Can Tho at the Hotel Xoai. It's quite a nice hotel, although maybe 20 minutes walk from the riverside. The hotel will book tours for you, including river trips, or you can book through an agency near the main pier.
