ATM withdraw limit at Cancun airportI need to withdraw as much pesos as possible at a Cancun airport ATM. Does anyone know what the max amount is allowed for ATM withdraw? Banks tend to set different limits, even more so in different country, the limit in the US is very different from Hong Kong. If someone can point out one ATM that allows more, that will be the one I use!

3I purposely have my daily limit set low by my home bank. But in the area where I live in Mexico, the ATMs are usually as Rolly said, 5000 pesos per day.

7RGM, no one is disputing the amount you say you get. We are simply saying that the ATM bank usually has a transaction limit, which is what rolly said in his reply. Most all the ATM's I have used in Mexico, as well as in other countries, have had transaction limits much less than $1000.
I, too, try to minimize the ATM transaction fees by withdrawing large amounts at once. I'll look for Bancomer in my future travels.

8While building a home near Dolores Hidiglo I regularly withdrew 42,000 pesos a day from the same ATM at the same time, I would withdraw from a Banamex ATM $2000.00 on a CITI card, $1000.00 on a Schwab card and $300.00 on a Banamax USA card for a total of 42,000 pesos with out any fees...
At the time the exchange rate was 13.30 x $1.00USD...I would use the CITI card 3 times for a total of 26,000 pesos,Schwab for 13,000 Pesos and Banamex USA for 3000 pesos...total = 42,000 Pesos...
